This autumn has been a tough one for the UK with many parts seeing record levels of rain and below average temperatures, but with sunshine showing up in the unlikeliest of places.
Dundee has enjoyed its sunniest summer so far in the 21st Century – with above-average levels of sunshine and drier than expected weather.
The mercury broke through the 30C barrier as Tayside enjoyed one of the hottest days of the year.
Dundee is set for some truly “taps aff” weather this weekend with sun, clear skies and warm winds expected on Saturday.
Taysiders basked in above-average temperatures as high as 24.5C at the weekend as summer truly kicked in across the area.
Dundonians are set to bask in beautiful sunshine today — with the temperature set to be 10C higher than the average for May.
