Budget retailer Poundland has ended its across-the-board £1 price pledge with the introduction of products ranging from 50p to £5 in every UK store.

David Milne, of Spey Drive, is accused of stealing from two Wellgate shops. He is alleged to have stolen hair straighteners from B&M on March 10. Milne also allegedly stole clothing from Poundland on the same day. The 41-year-old’s case was continued without plea until July 19 by Sheriff Derek Reekie.

Kemp admitted stealing toiletries, candles, food items and a mug from Poundland, Wellgate Shopping Centre, on March 7.
