Tennis superstar Andy Murray was left blushing on Monday after smashing a commemorative plate he had just received while in China.
The Scot had just been given the honour for his contribution to tennis in the country ahead of the Shenzhen Open this week.
The 31-year-old was posing for photos with the prize when it slipped out of the open presentation box and smashed on the floor.
Murray could be heard apologising as officials rushed to pick up the broken plate, saying “I’m so sorry” and putting his hand up to his face.
However, the tennis ace seems to have seen the funny side, and later shared a clip on Instagram with the caption: “Woops”.
