Emergency services rushed to a Coldside street after a woman fell and injured herself.
Police and ambulance attended Sandeman Street, near to the junction of Arklay Street, at around 10pm on Saturday.
One Arklay Street resident, who asked not to be named, said: “One woman kept asking for an ambulance and police were repeating that one was on its way. A woman was complaining her head was cut open.
“About five minutes later another car appeared with another two officers, and they were taking statements and trying to calm the situation down. Then about five minutes after that an ambulance arrived and at least one person was taken into the back of it.”
A police spokesman said: “We were called to an incident on Sandeman Street at the junction with Arklay Street.
“A woman had fallen and hit her head. She was conveyed to Ninewells Hospital by ambulance.”
