An elderly woman has been rushed to hospital after a car crashed into a cottage just outside of Dundee today.
The Scottish Ambulance Service said they received a call at 11.01am to attend a one-vehicle road traffic collision on Main Street, Longforgan.
One woman in her eighties was taken to hospital. No update was available on her condition.
It is also unknown whether the woman was in the car or the dwelling at the time.
A spokesman for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said they were called to the scene at 11.08am in order to make the vehicle safe.
Police Scotland also attended. A spokeswoman said: “Police Scotland attended at Main Street, Longforgan, following a road traffic incident where it is understood a car collided with a house, at 11.10am this morning.”
