A woman attacked in Templeton Woods by convicted killer Robbie McIntosh in August has been commended by police.
Chief Superintendent Paul Anderson held an awards ceremony in Dundee, and a Certificate of Recognition was presented to Linda McDonald.
Linda was recognised for the courage she displayed in providing an account of the assault which police say was instrumental in enabling officer to quickly identify and apprehend the McIntosh.
And brothers Peter and Colin Connor were also recognised for the role they played in coming to the assistance of Linda and providing first aid.
Both were unable to attend the ceremony. Certificates were also presented to police officers for their work on the armed robbery at Gleneagles Hotel.
