The cold weather looks set to disappear this week — and Dundee could see temperatures in double figures.

According to the Met Office, it is “not inconceivable” there will be temperatures of 10 degrees or higher across parts of Scotland, including the city.

Spokesman Grahame Madge said freezing temperatures could disappear from Scotland by the middle of the week.

“It is not inconceivable we could see 10 degrees in parts of Scotland including Dundee, Glasgow and Aberdeen,” he added.

Tomorrow and Wednesday will see temperatures in Dundee hit nine degrees.

It will be cloudy with a chance of rain through much of the morning.

Sunny intervals are likely throughout the afternoon.
