Dundee is getting a celebration of craft beers, ales and ciders next month and five lucky readers can win a pair of tickets to the event for free.
Craft Beer Discovery at The Bonar Hall on Saturday, February 10 will see 10 breweries exhibit their drinks and guests will have the chance to meet the brand ambassadors from each and try samples of the beers.
Upon entry, everyone is given a branded Craft Beer Discovery pint glass to keep and can then make their way around the room, trying any they fancy for free and – of course – can purchase pints or half pints of their favourites.
Local breweries St Andrews Brewing and Law Brew will be serving beers and ales along with big name favourites such as Brewdog and West Brewing. For the non-beer lovers, Thistly Cross will have a range of ciders and the gin and fizz bar will have some of Scotlands top gins on offer, served with premium tonic.
Entertainment will be in the form of the best of local acoustic acts and street food caterers Babu Kitchen and Fresh Mex will keep the hunger at bay.
The festival is organised by Harbro Events, the team behind The Whisky Social Dundee happening on March 24, and the fist Craft Beer Discovery event in Falkirk last year was a great success.
There are two sessions, noon to 4.30pm and 5.30-10pm and tickets are on sale now from www.harbroevents.co.uk/craft-beer-discovery-dundee, priced £12, which includes a free half pint of any beer of your choosing.
But Dundee Evening Telegraph readers can knock 20 per cent off the price with code TELEGRAPH until January 31 and five readers can win a pair by entering this simple question before Monday January 29 at 7am.
To enter, simply answer the question below.
