Dundee’s first ever Santa Dash has raised over £5,000 for charity.
The dash, organised by Leisure and Culture Dundee saw over 700 Santa’s take to the streets for the worthwhile cause.
The £5,000 raised from the event will all go towards The Archie Foundation, the official charity of Tayside Children’s Hospital, which is aiming to raise £2 million for a new twin operating theatre.
The news comes as a new video, made by 81 Films and Rising View, shows participants in the event.
Garry Smith, events and promotions officer from Leisure and Culture Dundee said: “We are absolutely delighted with the response we have had from the Dundee public.
“It gives us great pleasure to know that this money will be going to such a worthwhile charity in the Archie Foundation.”
