Folk who are keen for some prolonged dry spells will be encouraged by the Met Office’s forecast, which indicates showers at 6pm but dry during the rest of the event.
The maximum temperature is expected to be much lower than in recent days, down to 18C.
Thousands are expected to be in the city for the gig, with several road diversions in place.
