Organisers behind the Dundee Running Adventure Marathon are warning motorists to expect delays ahead of this Sunday’s event.
The DRAM, which incorporates a marathon and half-marathon, starts at Camperdown Park at 9.30am.
Race organiser, Nicholas Kydd, said motorists could expect delays between 10.30am and 12.30pm at two points during Sunday’s race.
He said: “We’ve got over 850 runners taking part in the race.
“The Open hasn’t started, although we believe there might still be a traffic flow heading towards Carnoustie this weekend.”
Roads in and around Claypotts and Arbroath Road near to the Clearwater entrance are likely to be the first to suffer delays.
As entrants descend into Monifieth, motorists are likely to experience delays on Maule Street, near to the footbridge, before runners make their way back into Dundee via the Green Circular.
