Roadworks are due to start on a section of the A90 Kingsway West on Sunday night.
The project will involve surfacing and kerbing improvements costing £190,000 near the BP garage at Camperdown.
The work is set to be carried out over seven nights, excluding next Friday and Saturday, between 7.30pm and 6.30am.
A spokesman for Bear Scotland said: “Single-lane closures will be in place for two nights to protect teams during the kerbing improvements.
“For the resurfacing phase, there will be a 10mph convoy in operation for five nights starting from next Tuesday.
“Access will be maintained for local services and businesses that are within the working area. All traffic management will be lifted during the day.
“We thank motorists for their patience in advance while our teams carry out these essential works on the A90.”
