A busy road in the local area will be shut for two weeks later this month.
Dunkeld Road in Perth will be closed between St Catherine’s Retail Park and the bottom of Crieff Road from Monday November 19 to allow roadworks to be carried out.
Motorists who intend to travel between the Atholl Street junction and the A85 Crieff Road roundabout will be diverted to Broxden Roundabout and on to the A9.
From there they will have to take the northbound A9 to Inveralmond before returning on to Dunkeld Road.
The move is likely to add to a traffic backlog on Glasgow Road due to ongoing roadworks at Cherrybank.
Motorists visiting St Catherine’s Retail Park will only be able to leave the site via Long Causeway leading to Caledonian Road.
Traffic heading towards the town centre will not be affected.
