It’s not often sporting superstars come to Tayside and this week the area is full of the best golfers in the world.
Young kids – and a few adults – could be forgiven for getting excited and wanting an autograph of selfie with their icons.
You would expect the stars to oblige, albeit begrudgingly – but footage has emerged of Tiger Woods approaching a group of awaiting youngsters and he wasn’t having any of it.
Clearly irritated or focused on his work, the 42-year-old ignored them and simply barged on through to the next hole – even brushing them away in the process.
The footage, from the penultimate practice day has gone viral on social media with the American flippantly being described as “a great role model for golf”.
He added: “Could have taken literally 30 seconds out of his day to make these kids day at the open a bit more special.”
