The British and Irish Tug of War Championships was held at the weekend.
Competitors from Scotland, England, Wales and Northern and the Republic of Ireland descended on Piperdam to take part in the competition.
The two-day event was held throughout Saturday and Sunday, and showcased the top tug of war talent.
Indoor tug of war differs from the outdoor summer sport in a number of ways, with pullers placed on rubber mats and wearing specially-designed flat, rubber-soled shoes.
The men’s 680kg pull was won by Ireland – whose A and B teams contested the final, with Northern Ireland taking silver and Scotland bronze.
