Three OAPs have been taken to Ninewells Hospital after a car crashed into a shop window at a busy Dundee retail park.
The white Volkswagen Polo went through the window of the Next store in the Gallagher Retail Park in East Dock Street at 9.30am today.
Three police vehicles, two fire engines and two ambulance crews arrived at the scene shortly after.
An eyewitness said the driver of the car had been parked in a bay outside the shop just before the crash happened.
It is understood a male was driving the car with a female in the front passenger seat.
A female pedestrian was injured as she attempted to get out of the way of the oncoming vehicle.
A Scottish Ambulance spokesperson said: “We received a call at 09.36 hours today to attend an incident at Gallagaher Retail Park in Dundee.
“We dispatched two ambulances and a manager to the scene. Three patients – two females and a male all in their 70s – were transported to Ninewells Hospital.”
The injuries are not thought to be serious.
A spokesman for Police Scotland said: “Officers are satisfied that this was not a deliberate act.”
