Dundee United face a race against time to complete two new signings ahead of tomorrow’s clash at Falkirk.
Boss Csaba Laszlo has already confirmed midfielder Craig Slater, fixed up on a loan deal from Colchester late on Wednesday, will be in his starting XI.
Today, United were rushing through the paperwork to complete deals for Watford full-back Brandon Mason and Danish striker Emil Lyng.
If they can obtain international clearance in time, the pair are expected to be on duty against the Bairns.
Well-travelled Lyng, 28, arrives from Icelandic outfit KA, for whom he’s hit nine goals in 20 appearances.
The Denmark U-21 international started his career in his homeland at AGF, and has also had spells in France for Lille and Danish outfit Esbjerg.
Mason, 20, will add to the options at the back.
He started last year by making his debut in the English Premier League against Spurs but has found first-team football difficult hard to come by.
Mason trained with United last month and took part in a couple of closed-door games.
That persuaded Csaba to give him a deal until the end of the season.
