Without a win in five games and slumped at the bottom of the Premiership table, it has not been a good start to the season for Dundee.
Aside from the League Cup victory over neighbours Dundee United, Neil McCann’s men have had a tough time.
Saturday’s 4-1 defeat by Rangers left the Dark Blues rooted to the foot of the table, and footage from the game tweeted by BBC Sport has summed up the team’s woes.
It shows Cammy Kerr hurtling down the wing with the ball at his feet during the clash at Ibrox.
Then, Jack Hendry, 22, inexplicably crashes into club Player of the Year and vice-captain, after appearing to run directly towards him at great pace.
Both players are brought down by the resulting tackle and Kerr agonisingly watches the ball drift away from him as he is left lying stricken on the ground.
The video has been retweeted almost 1,000 time sand has more than 1,600 likes.
Plenty saw the funny side.

Can you get a booking for fouling your own player??

The answer is yes. In 1994, Hearts teammates Graeme Hogg and current Hearts manager Craig Levein were sent off for scrapping during a pre-season friendly against Raith Rovers.
Thankfully, the Dundee players’ ‘offence’ at Ibrox caused only embarrassment!
