An armed robber left a takeaway shop without any loot after the worker behind the counter just ignored him.
The extraordinary CCTV footage above shows server Said Ahmed give a customer their order before turning his back on the gun-wielding raider.
The bewildered balaclava-clad intruder then walks away from the counter, in Christchurch New Zealand, and out of the shop.
After the incident, Ahmed is reported to have said: “The man wanted to frighten me and I decided he couldn’t do that. I passed the customer his food because I wanted him to leave the shop and not be in any danger.”
He added: “The robber was very confused by my behaviour. He wanted to scare me but I wasn’t scared, so I took away his power.”
The failed robber is now being hunted by police following the incident.
