Six fire engines and police attended a major fire on the edge of Dundee.
Crews tackled the blaze at Balmydown Farm, off Baldovan Road and near Baldovan Woods and Strathmartine Hospital after a call at 7.45pm last night.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue spokeswoman said an outbuilding was reported to be alight but nobody was inside.
The blaze could be seen for miles, with folk contacting the Tele last night to describe the scene.
The fire comes just three weeks after a blaze took hold at a field next to Pitempton Road, also near the hospital, which took almost two hours to put out.
