Dundee boss Jim McIntyre is set for a boost over his January plans to upgrade his squad options in the transfer window.
With his side bottom of the Premiership pile and yet to pick up a victory since taking the managerial reins, Jim is expected to bring in a number of new faces to bolster his chances of keeping the team in the division.
And that will be helped by the arrival of owner Tim Keyes this week.
The Texan is in town to check in on the running of his club and will meet the manager for the first time.
And the subject of funds for purchases in the winter transfer window is likely to come up.
With goals at both ends an issue, Jim will be looking for reinforcements all over the park.
By the end of his first transfer window as Ross County boss, in a similar situation, he brought in 12 new players with nine heading out.
Those sort of numbers again are probably unlikely but it is expected the Dens gaffer will be given funds to reshape the squad.
It’s likely a few will be moving on, too, however.
