Two more top acts have been added to the bill for BBC Music’s Biggest Weekend in Tayside.
The broadcaster today revealed singer Emile Sande and British rockers Squeeze will play on Saturday May 26 when the two day music festival comes to Scone Palace.
Aberdeen-born Sande is best known for her smash hit Next To Me, while the iconic Squeeze are most remembered for their 1979 single Up The Junction.
Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds and Scottish rock legends Simple Minds were previously announced as headliners at the Perth event.
Tickets for the first day of the festival remain on sale with a variety og performers from the world of jazz, folk music and symphony orchestra’s take to the stage.
Briefs for the Saturday, when some of the biggest names in pop music will perform, has already sold out.
BBC Music’s Biggest Weekend will be held simultaneously at four city’s across the UK.
Other artists performing elsewhere include the Manic Street Preachers in Belfast, Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran in Swansea and Liam Gallagher in Coventry.
