Guide Dogs in Forfar will host a trio of races next month to celebrate Guide Dogs Week.
The charity has organised a 5k trail race, Fido fun run and a family-friendly event setting off from the training school on Sunday October 14.
Charlotte Finch, Scotland head of operations, said: “We really do have something for everyone, whether you wish to take part with your dog, want to go at your own pace and get active with your family or you are a serious runner looking for a personal best.
“It’s a flat, traffic-free course around the beautiful Forfar Loch.
“There are great prizes for the first three in each race and every finisher will receive a bespoke medal and a fantastic goody bag.
“We have 100 places in the 5k trail race, 50 places in the Fido 5k and 50 places in the family fun run, which children can enter for free.
“There will be stalls at the training school before and after the race, and a chance to meet our guide dogs in training and some of their trainers.”
