Police have named the woman who died in a crash in Fife last week.
She was Michelle Russell from Alva, Clackmannanshire.
The 38-year-old sustained serious injuries after her Vauxhall Astra was involved in a collision with a trailer, which was being towed by a Land Rover Discovery, at the Saline Hotel on Thursday August 30.
Emergency services responded to the scene, where, despite the best efforts of the Scottish Ambulance Service, Michelle was pronounced dead at the scene.
In a statement released through Police Scotland, Michelle’s family said: “Michelle was a loved daughter, sister and aunty.
“We will miss her so much.”
Sergeant Ewan Pearce from Fife’s Road Policing Unit said: “Our thoughts and deepest sympathies remain with Michelle’s family at this very difficult time and our inquiries into the full circumstances of this collision continue.
“If you were on the B913 road at the Saline Hotel at around 10am on Thursday and witnessed what happened, or have any other information relevant to our investigation, then please contact police immediately.”
