Tributes have been paid to a “bubbly and energetic” motorcyclist killed in a road accident.

Daniel Piasczynski died just days before his 21st birthday after being involved in a collision with a bin lorry in Dunkeld Road, Perth, on Wednesday.

Mr Piasczynski was a sales assistant at Currys PC World at St Catherine’s Retail Park.

His regional manager Stuart Doherty said that the entire store was “in shock”.

He added: “I was speaking to Daniel the day before and, as always, he was bubbly and energetic and making a huge difference to our customers.

“He was a much-valued member of our team and he was friends with everyone.

“He had a very bright future with us.

“Our thoughts are with Daniel’s family and friends at this very difficult time.”
