Traffic in a busy Dundee street was forced to take evasive action to avoid colliding with two men engaged in a stand-up fight in the roadway, it has been alleged.
Kevin Smith, 42, of Barnes Avenue, pleaded not guilty to a charge of causing a breach of the peace and will face trial in August.
Smith denies that he behaved in a threatening or abusive manner likely to cause fear or alarm at Albert Street on January 23.
It is also alleged that he repeatedly shouted, swore, acted in an aggressive manner, engaged in a stand-up fight there with a person unknown and caused road users to take evasive action to avoid colliding with him, while on two bail orders.
His trial was fixed for August 9 with an intermediate diet on July 24.
