A restaurant has closed its doors ahead of a rebranding exercise.
The Tony Macaroni outlet in St Andrews closed at the beginning of the month without any prior notice.
However, lovers of Italian food have nothing to fear, with the company announcing that a new spin-off restaurant will open at the Bell Street premises instead.
It will be only the second restaurant to open under the new Mozza brand, specialising in serving Neapolitan pizzas.
Stephanie Yapp from the firm said: “We think the market in St Andrews would appreciate something a bit different.
“Our plan is to reopen within about three months.”
