Hundreds of companies will be on the look out for employees at a jobs fair in Dundee today.
Job seekers, or people looking for a change in career, are being urged to attend the event at the Caird Hall today from 12pm to 5pm.
Run by the Dundee and Angus Chamber of Commerce, the event is open to anyone as well as those thinking of starting a business or adding to their skills and qualifications.
As well as the chamber of commerce, Jobcentre Plus and Dundee City Council are partner agencies helping to run the event.
Lynne Short, the council’s convener of city development, said while there is always a drive to help younger people into employment, targeting older men to help is a focus of the council’s too, to help them into new roles.
“We will be linking up with the job clubs around the city that the council runs, and bussing people into the fair.
“I’m on my fourth career now as a councillor, so people should always realise it’s never too late to try something new.”
The fair is free to attend but those interested are asked to register prior to attending by clicking here.
Attendees can also sign upon entering the Caird Hall.
