Tinnitus sufferers in Dundee asked to share their experiences

A Dundee charity is asking locals to share their experiences of tinnitus support.

Action on Hearing Loss Scotland hopes it will raise awareness for more services which can help reduce how the condition affects people’s lives.

They are looking to speak to people who have sought support from their GP, local NHS audiology department or at the ear, nose and throat (ENT) clinic and have a particularly good or challenging experience to share.

Teri Devine, director of Action on Hearing Loss Scotland, said: “As part of our research project, we are looking for Dundee residents interested in helping our campaign to highlight how they have been successfully supported to minimise the impact of tinnitus on their everyday lives.”

Anyone who wants to share their experience is asked to email Campaigns.Scotland@hearingloss.org.uk or call/text 07388 227407.
