A new Macmillan Community Hub has opened in Ardler.
The facility will offer advice and support to people in the local community affected by cancer.
Dundee City Council leader John Alexander said: “This is a terrific resource that will really help people on their cancer journey.
“The approach in Ardler will involve the input of local people themselves to provide a caring and supportive environment.
“I am pleased that the strong partnership between the council, the Ardler Complex, Ardler Village Trust and Macmillan is delivering innovative solutions for people and their families.”
Janice Preston, head of services for Macmillan in Scotland, said: “We are delighted to be working in partnership to bring much-needed cancer information and support to the local community.”
