Members of Dundee Stroke Exercise Club have been making use of their new exercise bike – funded in part by the Tele’s Community Chest promotion.
The equipment, which cost about £7,000, enables clients to put their limbs through a range of movements.
The group previously had one bike but the new machine means more clients can use it in a session.
Chairwoman Margaret Mitchell MBE said: “The new bike can give feedback on exactly what the clients are doing and how far they’ve gone.”
The group received just under £400 from the Community Chest.
Margaret added: “We are absolutely delighted. The funding was really helpful to us and is much appreciated.
“We are using it at all our classes and people are getting the benefit of it.”
The group holds classes at Douglas Sports Centre but Margaret said there were plans to expand to other parts of the city.
