Dundee boss Neil McCann has team problems to solve ahead of Hibs clash

Both Kerr Waddell and Sofien Moussa are suspended.

Dundee boss Neil McCann will have problems to solve at both ends of the pitch for tonight’s league clash with Hibs.

The Edinburgh side head to Dens Park looking to get over their Scottish Cup derby defeat on Sunday, while the Dark Blues are keen to put a below-par display against Inverness behind them, too.

Definitely missing for the home side will be striker Sofien Moussa and young centre-back Kerr Waddell.

Both have one-game suspensions after picking up too many yellow cards in the first half of the season.

Normally, with the size of squad available to gaffer Neil, replacements would be waiting in the wings ready for a chance.

However, Marcus Haber, who has battled with Moussa all season for a striking berth, missed the 2-2 draw with Caley at the weekend with a back problem.

Whether he’ll recover in time for tomorrow night remains to be seen.

Meanwhile, at centre-back, along with Waddell not being available, Julen Etxabeguren has damaged a hamstring and is unlikely to be fit in time.

Also a doubt is in-demand defender Jack Hendry who sat out on Saturday with flu.

He was expected to be back in training this week, however.

That leaves Saturday’s pairing Josh Meekings and Darren O’Dea, neither of whom were convincing against Caley Thistle. Also available is Kosta Gadzhalov but he is yet to feature at all this season.
