A substance use, stigma and supporting recovery awareness session is to take place in Dundee.
The event is a part of the Recovery Friendly Dundee initiative which aims to tackle stigma surrounding misuse as well as raise awareness of the links between health inequalities and substance misuse.
The session will run at Menzieshill Community Centre on Monday September 17 and is aimed at service providers.
Tailored sessions to local community groups and volunteers are also available. Contact the community health team – health inequalities, for more information.
The free session is specifically for those who provide services in the Dundee area. Anyone from outwith Dundee who wants to attend is advised to contact the organisers in advance of booking.
Another session will take place at the Mitchell Street Centre on November 22.
