Dundee striker Marcus Haber returned to training at the weekend after missing the last four months with a back problem.
The Canada international last played at the start of February in a 4-1 defeat to bottom side Ross County.
Initially the injury he suffered wasn’t thought to be too serious but eventually led to surgery.
That ruled the 29-year-old out for the remainder of the last campaign.
However, with the Dundee first team reporting for pre-season testing yesterday, Haber joined his team-mates to train for the first time in months.
Also joining the players were new signings Nathan Ralph, Elton Ngwatala and Jack Hamilton for the first time.
The Dark Blues start pre-season games on Friday at Brechin City.
Then comes a friendly at Central Park the following Monday before the squad head off for a training camp in Portugal.
