Storm Ali has arrived in Dundee and is already causing disruption on the roads.
Gusts exceeding 65mph has forced they Tay Road Bridge to close to all traffic and pedestrians, other than cars driving at a 30mph speed limit.
Traffic is being restricted on the Kingsway near to the Scott Fyffe Roundabout due to a fallen tree. The road is open but restricted.
In Lochee, a tree has fallen in Foggyley Gardens causing Xplore Dundee to reroute it’s number 4 bus service.
The bus is having to divert via Coupar Angus Road and Harefield Road “until further notice”.
Meanwhile the main road into Tealilng off the A90 is closed due to a “downed electrical cable”.
Police say engineers are working to fix the problem and reopen the road with a spokesman hoping it will be back in use “fairly soon”.
A fallen tree has also closed the A823 south of Loaninghead Junction.
A police spokesman added: “There are fallen trees and branches all around the Tayside area, so please take care, wherever you are.”
