Star story marks end of Rep’s Children’s Festival

Vision Mechanics in action performing Little Light

Dundee Rep’s Children’s Festival came to a close with a story about a curious star falling from the sky to explore Earth.

Vision Mechanics, a co-production with Jordan-based Haya Cultural Centre, brought its new touring show Little Light to the Tay Square theatre, set in a traditional Bedouin tent.

Combining puppetry, music and dance, Little Light tells the tale of an energetic star, a lonely boy and a dog.

It was one of the shows closing the Rep’s annual children’s festival, which was held over the Easter holidays from April 2-14 and featured six different productions for children of all ages.
