A cheque for £9,750 has been presented to the Stroke Association Scotland following fundraising by Simon Allison, who has battled back from a massive stroke, and his team at Blackadders LLP.
Simon and colleagues Jack Boyle, Laura Lindsay and Stewart Dunbar, from the firm’s Dundee office, tackled the 26-mile Kiltwalk, and also organised a pub quiz, bake sale and, with the help of Dundee Round Table, a Santa Sleigh.
Simon was told he had a 50% chance of surviving his stroke in January last year, yet he returned to work three months later following intensive treatment and completed the Kiltwalk within six months.
