Staff at the Ballindean Road Spar in Dundee spent December raising money for charities — collecting £500 for one charity alone.
Several charity events were held at the shop to raise money for Brown Street Kennels, Women’s Aid, Breast Cancer Care and Action for Children.
Staff and customers collected and donated for the charities throughout the month, including £500 for Brown Street Kennels.
Store manager Tracey Munro said: “Staff members Ann Murray and Kirsty Laing are the brains behind it and they are always collecting for some charity through the year.
“In December they got the rest of the staff to take part with great results and we are grateful to the customers for helping to make it a huge success.”
