A Dundee snooker club is set to welcome former world champion Ken Doherty next month.
The Irish legend will be appearing at the Tivoli Snooker Club in Bonnybank Road.
Doherty lifted the world title in 1997 when he inflicted a first-ever world final loss on Scotland’s Stephen Hendry.
The Irishman reached the final again the following year, losing to John Higgins — who also appeared at the Tivoli last year.
The Tivoli Snooker Club is celebrating its 32nd anniversary.
Doherty’s visit on Saturday February 24 is part of the celebrations and will see him play 10 frames against members of the public.
Tickets for the exhibition are priced at £20, with VIP packages also available to see the former world number two in action.
Doherty has also found success as snooker commentator and television pundit.
Anyone interested in tickets should call 01382 221965.
