Motorists are facing long delays coming in to Dundee over the Tay Road Bridge due to city centre road closures.
The Perth-bound exit ramp of the bridge has been closed meaning all traffic from the crossing is being rerouted via East Marketgait due to the 3D Festival and V&A opening weekend celebrations.
Motorists had previously been warned to expect delays ahead of the event.
Although the event doesn’t open until around 5.30pm, severe delays are already being reported.
Traffic has been pictured nose-to-tail across the bridge with some reporting delays of around 20 minutes.
The road to the south of Slessor Gardens is closed until Saturday night as the city stages a weekend of events to mark the opening of the £80m museum.
