Several women and businesses associated with Dundee have been selected as finalists in this years’ Scottish Women’s Awards.
The awards aim to acknowledge and celebrate the achievements of women entrepreneurs, business women, professionals, civil servants, women in uniform and more.
Nominated for her services to education is Sue Black, formerly of the University of Dundee.
Also from Dundee is the Dunedin Advisory and The Malting House Design Studio which have both been shortlisted for small business of the year.
Nominated for her contribution to arts and culture is Beth Bate from the Dundee Contemporary Arts and in the running for Business of the Year is Insights Learning Development.
The black tie event, hosted by Creative Oceanic, will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Glasgow on September 12.
