A Perthshire farmer turned stand-up comedian is to perform in Dundee later this year.
Jim Smith, known for his stints on BBC’s Scot Squad and Breaking the News, will bring his third solo show to the city’s Gardyne Theatre on Saturday July 6.
Described as “Countryfile meets The Only Way Is Essex”, Jim’s comedy sees him use characters, regional accents and impressions to help explain to city slickers what the outside world looks like through the eyes of those that “bide up the glen”.
Hot topics include internet dating for farmers, village nightlife and how to pimp your Land Rover.
Tickets for the show, costing £13.50 or £11.50 for a concession, are available from dundeebox.co.uk
