Safety inspection could cause delays for Dundee railway passengers

Workers are conducting a safety inspection on the railway line in Fife, which could cause delays for passengers using Dundee station.

ScotRail has tweeted that an inspection is taking place near Kirkcaldy.

It read: “Due to a safety inspection of the track between Kirkcaldy and Kinghorn, trains between Dundee/Perth and Edinburgh may be revised.”

This afternoon, National Rail Enquiries had no details of any delays to Dundee services.
