Thomas Mikkelsen won’t be back to play for Dundee United – after today signing a deal at Ross County.
The Dingwall side have today announced the Dane has joined on a two-year deal.
The Tangerines had hoped to negotiate a deal with Odense to see the on-loan striker return after his time in the City of Discovery came to an end.

However, the 27-year-old will remain in Scotland, instead playing in the Highlands.
Boss Jim McIntyre will hope the striker will be able to fill the void left by Liam Boyce, who left for Burton Albion.
Mikkelsen will return to Dundee on the first game of the season as the Staggies face the Dark Blues at Dens Park.
