Paul Dixon is back training with Dundee United but Robbie Neilson isn’t lining up a return to the tangerine and black for the popular defender.
The 32-year-old is a free agent after his contract with Grimsby Town was cancelled.
Former Tannadice boss Ray McKinnon has confirmed his interest in linking up with Dixon at Falkirk but Neilson won’t be making him an offer.
“Paul is here to train,” he said.
“I’ve known him since I was here as a player. He left Grimsby a couple of weeks ago and his family stay up here.
“He knows Scott Robertson really well and he’s asked to use the facilities and train with the young ones.
“I’m happy to help him out as much as I can until he gets something sorted.
“We’ve got Booth and Robson in his position, so it’s no more than that.”
