Residents are being asked for their views on plans for a solar farm in their area.
Lightsource BP are holding a consultation event for members of the public at Fowlis Easter Hall on Monday February 18.
The company say that they will provide more information to residents in the surrounding area of Berryhill Road in Invergowrie about proposals to fund, develop and operate the 49.9MW development.
Residents are invited to drop in at any time between 3.30pm and 6.30pm to discuss and offer feedback on the proposal with representatives from Lightsource BP.
The firm claim that the project would generate over 48,000 megawatt-hours of renewable energy every year that could power over 14,600 homes.
Lightsource BP says it is also eager to hear from wildlife enthusiasts and schools who may be interested in playing a role in the ongoing monitoring of wildlife on the site.
Conor McGuigan, Director of Business Development for Europe, Lightsource BP, said: “We want to ensure that local communities in and around Fowlis are informed of our plans to develop the project.
“We look forward to meeting elected representatives, local businesses and residents at the community information event.”
