Motorists have been taking matters into their own hands this morning after a fault on traffic lights on a busy Scottish road.
The temporarily traffic lights are currently stuck on red on the A985 Kincardine Bridge, Fife.
There are reports of queues on the bridge as long as 45 minutes.
A Traffic Scotland statement at 8.30am said: “Traffic queuing in the area but there’s some dangerous queue jumping going on.”
An update at 9.05am added: “Temporary traffic lights are currently stuck on red on A985 Kincardine Bridge. Workmen on site are managing the traffic until they are fixed.”

Congestion was also reported on the A876 Clackmannanshire Bridge and northbound at the Higgins Neuk Roundabout due to roadworks.
