Fire-damaged gym facilities at Perth High School will remain closed until the new term, education chiefs have confirmed.
Pupils were evacuated last week after a fire broke out in the PE block, sending smoke billowing through corridors.
Three male pupils were detained in connection with the incident and the police have confirmed that two have since been charged and referred to the Youth Justice Assessor.
A spokeswoman for Perth and Kinross Council said: “The works to refurbish the fire-damaged gym store are under way. PE classes will remain unaffected as the school has other facilities available.”
