Police were called out to a Dundee street after yobs set off fireworks.
Locals reported youngsters setting off the pyrotechnics in the area of Harestane Road and Baldovan Road in Kirkton yesterday about 6.30pm.
Officers traced a group of youths within the vicinity in connection with the incident.
A spokesman for Police Scotland appealed for others to avoid such “reckless” behaviour.
He said: “While this isn’t the usual time of year for this to happen of an evening, the inherent risks and dangers of mishandling fireworks and recklessly letting them off remain just as high.
“We would like to remind everyone that not only is it illegal to sell or supply fireworks to a person under the age of 18 but it is also illegal for any person under the age of 18 to be in possession of a firework in a public place.”
