Two brand new cars have been written off after a vehicle transporter smashed into a rail bridge.
Police are on the scene at King’s Place in Perth after the incident around 7.55am today.

The vehicle, which was carrying new cars, attempted to travel under the bridge next to Perth Station.

However, the lorry was too big resulting in a white Jaguar and a Range Rover being damaged. The latter of the two vehicles was extensively damaged with its roof effectively torn off.
Rail services appear to be unaffected, Network Rail have been approached for comment.
